Holiday Inn Madison At The American Center, An Ihg Hotel, Madison

My stay at the hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. The rooms, even though in better than average condition, were very noisy through the night and didn't look anything like in the pictures I had seen before booking. Unfortunately, they also don't have microwaves, which was a bit inconvenient. On the bright side, the hotel service was top-notch with hospital staff showing genuine interest in my overseas trip and being very proud of 'Their' Hotel. They even extended their service hours to ensure my needs were met. The location, though geared more towards business travelers, was nice and super easy to access from the highway, making it convenient for other travelers too. The hotel might not appear dated from the outside, but once inside, the hallways, rooms, and stairwells show signs of aging.

The hotel had spacious and very comfortable rooms, but they tended to heat up, becoming very uncomfortable at times. Despite the noise, the rooms were cozy. The service was very accommodating and genuinely interested in ensuring a pleasant stay. The location was convenient, close to major motorways and local establishments. The dining experience was excellent, with good poultry options. Overall, a good value for money with some room for improvement in room comfort.

Overall, a comfortable stay in a business-centric area.
